I have made a bet with my mother, that on my treadmill, I could walk from Yankees Stadium to Dodgers Stadium. It is a distance of 2,809 miles. I plan drinking no sodas, and using portion control in my diet to lose weight. Every day I will walk, and add my distance and tell everyone where I am in my walk. I will also do weekly weigh ins and tell you how much I have lost or gained that week. If I can do this, my mother will purchase tickets to an Dodger's game for my wife and I.

I walked for 15 minutes at a higher speed, and it wore me out. The treadmill has a 10% incline. For a guy like me, who hasn't worked out in a while, it was hard. I walked exactly half a mile. This brings my total to .845 miles, or in the neighborhood of 4/5ths of a mile. It is slow going now, but the farther I go, the easier it will get. I am now on Jerome Ave. in NYC looking to get onto I-95 and the George Washington Bridge.
