Walk The World

I have made a bet with my mother, that on my treadmill, I could walk from Yankees Stadium to Dodgers Stadium. It is a distance of 2,809 miles. I plan drinking no sodas, and using portion control in my diet to lose weight. Every day I will walk, and add my distance and tell everyone where I am in my walk. I will also do weekly weigh ins and tell you how much I have lost or gained that week. If I can do this, my mother will purchase tickets to an Dodger's game for my wife and I.

I had to take a couple of days off because of a bad cold. I had my first official weigh-in today. I lost .6 or a little over a half a pound. I walked for 34 minutes on the treadmill for a distance of 1.153 miles. I am now off of the GW bridge and am heading west on the New JerseyTurnpike. I am heading toward East Stroudsburg, PA. It is about 80 miles away.
