I have made a bet with my mother, that on my treadmill, I could walk from Yankees Stadium to Dodgers Stadium. It is a distance of 2,809 miles. I plan drinking no sodas, and using portion control in my diet to lose weight. Every day I will walk, and add my distance and tell everyone where I am in my walk. I will also do weekly weigh ins and tell you how much I have lost or gained that week. If I can do this, my mother will purchase tickets to an Dodger's game for my wife and I.

Today was a great day! I got to around 17 minutes on the treadmill, and I still felt pretty good, so I stayed on for a grand total of 32 1/2 minutes! My distance today was 1.023 miles. Yes! I am still on the George Washington Bridge. I have another 2.158 miles to go on the bridge, and .673 miles until I cross the state line into New Jersey! Today told me that my goal is very much attainable. I feel that with each day I get a little stronger. My distances and times are increasing everyday. I have been watching my diet, and I hope that these workouts will show up on the scale come Tuesday. I have to switch weigh in days because of the Martin Luther King holiday on Monday, as we are not in school.
